Upcoming Conferences & Seminars

  • Sign up for workshops sponsored by the Office of Grant and Research Development.

  • Education in the Responsible Conduct of Research is mandatory for all WSU faculty and graduate students. WSU establishes the expectation for the highest standards of responsible research conduct - standards which are, in many cases, reinforced by law or sponsor regulations.

  • Principal investigators must complete Basic/Refresher Required Modules of the web-based Collaborative IRB Training Initiative (CITI) Course for social behavior research and biomedical research areas.
  • WSU IRB requires the PI and encourages all staff involved in the research to complete CITI training in the ethical use of human participants in research. The PI is ultimately responsible to adequately train all staff listed on the application in the protection of human participants in research. Retraining is required every five years.

  • The Office of Research Faculty Development Series (FDS) is a broad curriculum designed to educate WSU Faculty in many aspects of successful proposal development and sponsored project management. FDS tracks offered include Faculty Education Track (FET) and the Productive Proposal Writing Track (PPW), coordinated by the Office of Grant and Research Development (OGRD).
