Loansome Doc

Article Copies via LoansomeDoc®

Loansome Doc is a feature of Pubmed enabling users to order documents found in MEDLINE®. From PubMed , students, Intercollegiate College of Nursing employees, and other authorized users can order articles from a list of retrieved citations and have them sent to the Anderson Library to supply a full-text document if the library does not own the journal. Students pay a $3 fee for articles we get from outside our consortium school libraries; faculty and others make other arrangements. If the library owns the journal, local students and faculty receive a copy of the request with a note to come in and copy the article.

Register using the Loansome Doc Registration Page

The Loansome Doc Registration page stores the user's complete name, address, telephone number, fax number, preferred method of delivery (choose Pickup from the list, which includes Mail, Fax, or Internet, unless you make special arrangements with us), and a library identifier (LIBID) for the library that will provide documents. The Intercollegiate College of Nursing LIBID is WAUICN.You will receive a UserID, and choose a password.

This ID is entered into the user's REGISTRATION record. This identifier is transmitted with each batch of orders, and identifies the library to which the orders are sent.
