Academic Search Complete: INDEXING & ARTICLES

offers full-text articles over a wide range of topics, and includes many general academic journal articles.

To search outside the library (from home, etc.) you’ll need to know your WSU Network ID, and may want your e-mail address.

From the College of Nursing Library home page , choose  Find Articles and Magazines at WSU.

Under Article Indexes and Other Databases A to Z, choose Academic Search Complete.
(If not at a WSU computer, you'll be asked for your Network ID)

If you are searching for news or current events information, use Newsbank Access World News.

Advanced Search lets you search citations and abstracts, publication titles, and author’s names.  Once you have some experience with the indexing, you may try using the Subject box, but the results are not predictable and consistent.

You can also choose the dates of publication, some types of articles, etc.
Once you've entered terms, press the blue "Search" button.

When you have a list of results, rapidly view entire articles by clicking on the blue underlined title, or on Full text.   To view a photocopy, click on  PDF Full Text

Save citations and/or articles in a single "folder" list by clicking Add to folder for each article. Then view, print, or e-mail the contets of the folder. Be sure to find and follow the on-screen instructions for the function you are performing.

You can always ask for assistance, by phone at 509-358-7930, by e-mail to Bob Pringle or Mary Wood, or in person.
