Family Nurse Practitioner
The MN degree program prepares advanced-practice nurses with leadership skills to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate health care, as well as formulate policy for a diverse and multi-cultural society. It also prepares advanced-practice nurses to work with health care providers and those in other occupations to plan and provide high quality care. A post-masters program is also available for nurse practitioner students.

Master of Nursing Graduates:
- Evaluate nursing knowledge through scientific inquiry.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to develop primary care services.
- Formulate clients' health care management plans, including coordination of care.
- Assume responsibilty and accountability for the provision of quality primary care in a cost-effective manner.
- Analyze health care policy in relation to provision of primary health care services.
