Criteria for Admission
- Favorable evaluation of all information in the application file by the Undergraduate Admissions and Progression Committee at the College of Nursing
- Overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and also in courses pre-requisite to the upper division nursing major
- Minimum acceptable grade of 2.0 (C) in a prerequisite course
- Junior standing (90 Quarter Credits or 60 Semester Credits).
- Since the number of applicants may exceed the number of students that can be admitted, there is no assurance that all persons meeting admission criteria will be selected
- Personal Interview
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of the Internet, e-mailing skills are essential.
- Writing portfolio may be required
