Help Desk
The ITS Help Desk is the single point of contact for assistance in resolving computing and telecommunications problems. Faculty, staff and students may request assistance from the Help Desk staff to resolve issues arising from computing and network services provided by the College. The Help Desk staff cannot work to fix personal computers, accessories, or software. The Help Desk’s e-mail address is spok.it.help@wsu.edu. Response is within two working days.
Integrating IT and Library Operations
As of July 1, ITS operations at ICN and Riverpoint have officially integrated, with Saleh Elgiadi heading up Academic and Research Technologies (ART) and Larry Hoffman in charge of Operations and Enterprise Systems (OES). The help desk, which should be your first point of contact for any IT issues or questions, was integrated on August 11. As of that date, nursing faculty and staff should direct all IT support requests to Loretta Ramirez at the Riverpoint Helpdesk (spok.it.help@wsu.edu or 509-358-7748), who will route your request to the appropriate person. Library staff at both locations are in the process of integrating. CON Library staff are on campus regularly to start familiarizing themselves with the operations of the Riverpoint Campus Library. All library staff report to Bob Pringle, director of the Riverpoint Campus Library. Please note that the integration of these departments does not change the bargaining unit membership status of any of its employees.
